Mixing Chamber
The Power Irrigation Mixing Chamber is a product which is part of our innovative solutions for high tech irrigation systems.
The mixing chamber itself and the main connections are entirely made of stainless steel. Connections for the dosing channels and tubes are made of PVC. The purpose of the mixing chamber is to mix concentrated fertilizers from the AB tanks and acid as homogeneously as possible and to prevent the precipitation of salts. This is achieved on the one hand by making the flow in the chamber, thanks to the internal design, as turbulent as possible. On the other hand, the inflowing concentrated fertilizer and acid are distributed over the entire length of the chamber by means of internal PVC distribution tubes.
Another important function of the mixing chamber is to create sufficient delay (buffer) in the flow, so that the EC-pH control becomes 'quiet'. The dimensions of the mixing chamber below (see also drawing) guarantee a quiet control up to a flow of approximately 30 m3/h through the chamber.
